Review of the Club Meeting on June 13, 2023

The meeting of the Industrial Club of the MATEX ARD took place on June 13, 2023, in Tours.

We started the day with a visit to the Center for Studies and Research on Elastomer Materials (CERMEL). This visit allowed us to explore the facilities and research activities conducted by CERMEL. We had the opportunity to learn more about their expertise in elastomer materials.

A review of the news and progress related to the Industrial Club members of the MATEX project was held at the University of Tours, in the form of a plenary session followed by a friendly networking session.

The day concluded with a visit to the laboratories of GREMAN and PCM2E. We discovered the research and advancements in the field of energy conversion and storage, especially regarding batteries, supercapacitors, hybrid photovoltaics, ionic liquids, as well as nanostructured materials and organic electrochromic devices at PCM2E. Regarding GREMAN, we learned about their research on materials, microelectronics, acoustics, and nanotechnologies.
